Sparks of Broadway is a charity musical revue of popular songs taken from various Broadway musicals. Produced and choreographed by Farah Sulaiman and directed by Sabrina Hassan, the show features performers of all ages. The audience will be taken through the world of Broadway as each song is elaborately staged into a full production number with the complete works of lights, music dancing, set and costume.

This 90-minute musical extravaganza features over 20 songs including "America" (West Side Story), "All Dat Jazz" (Chicago) and "One Night Only" (Dreamgirls). The variety songs will display a mixture of musicality and a diversity of dance styles.

Performers range from amateurs to professionals in the industry. Our younger performers have been selected by Farah Sulaiman based on their potential and passion for musical theatre. They are brought through rigorous workshops and rehearsals where they learn the different disciplines of dancing, acting and singing.

Sparks of Broadway is set in a conceptual playground where the audience is invited to join us in an evening of fun-filled entertainment. Just like children, who let their imaginations roam free and are open to all possibilities, the playground's versatility will transform into various musical settings. Stories of where these musicals came from and what significance has in our lives will make you realize that no matter how rough things get, we all need a little music.
